Christmas party invitations to print or send
Invitations for every sort of Christmas do: art deco cocktail evenings, Christmas jumper parties, a retro disco, black tie at home, an après-ski night, Friendsmas with the people you’d choose to spend it with, and even a Christmas party (and a festive walk) for the dogs.
Each is a 5 × 7 in invitation with the sample wording already laid out, so you only swap in your names, the date and the address. Print them two to an A4 sheet at home, or download the image and drop it straight into the group chat.
Your first design is free, then 99p each. Or every design for £5 a month with Unlimited.

Wording a Christmas party invitation
- Put the theme in the headline. If there’s a dress code, it belongs at the top, not in the small print: “Christmas jumpers compulsory”, “Black tie” or “Festive sparkle”. Guests decide whether they’re coming, and what to wear, from the first line.
- Give a finish time as well as a start. “8pm until late” is fine at home, but if there’s a babysitter, a last train or a venue that shuts at midnight, “7.30 to 11.30pm” saves a dozen questions.
- Make replying easy. Name one person and a date: “RSVP to Sophie by Friday 4 December”. Add a mobile number, or “just reply in the group”, and you’ll have your numbers in time to buy the food and drink.
- Save the date for a December Saturday. The Saturdays before Christmas go first. If yours is the 12th or the 19th, send a save the date in November and the full invitation three weeks before. There’s a matching save the date in the Retro bauble club set.

Pick a designQuestions
- Can I change the type of party on a design?
- Yes. The headline is ordinary text, so a jumper party design can become Christmas drinks or a Friendsmas in seconds. You can change the fonts and colours too.
- Are there matching designs for the rest of December?
- Many party designs belong to a set, so the same look carries on. Festive disco has a cocktail party, a jumper party, Secret Santa, karaoke, an office party and a children’s disco; Alpine chalet adds a Christmas dinner, an open house and a games night.
- Can I send one invitation to the whole group chat?
- Yes. Download the image and share it to WhatsApp, Messages or Instagram from your phone. The same download has the PDF and A4 sheet for anyone who’d like a printed one.
- How much is a Christmas party invitation?
- Your first design is free, then 99p each, however many guests you invite. Unlimited, at £5 a month, covers every design, from the save the date to the Secret Santa cards.
