Dales dusk – magic reindeer food labels & bag toppers
Four magic reindeer food bag toppers on one A4 sheet, styled like vintage seed packets. Each has a painted picture of a reindeer nibbling oats in a snowy Yorkshire Dales field at dusk, by a dry-stone wall and a stone barn with a glowing window, under your child’s name in heather script and “Magic reindeer food” in deep green lettering. Below, an original little rhyme tells them to scatter a handful on the grass at bedtime on Christmas Eve, and a note reminds everyone it’s oats and bird seed, never glitter, so it’s safe for the birds. Give each topper its own name, for brothers and sisters, a whole class or a Christmas fair stall, or change the rhyme. Each topper fits a 10cm (4in) wide cello or treat bag: cut out, fold over the top of the bag and staple the two top corners, or trim off the green flap to use them as labels.
