Terms of use
Last updated
These terms cover using Papercrumb at papercrumb.com, including buying templates and the Unlimited plan. Please read them with our refunds and cancellations policy and our privacy policy. By creating an account or buying from us, you agree to them. Nothing in them takes away your legal rights as a consumer.
Who we are
Papercrumb is run by Trine Studios in the United Kingdom (“we” or “us”). You can email us at hello@papercrumb.com, or choose Get help in the account menu when you’re signed in.
What Papercrumb is
Papercrumb lets you personalise designs in your browser and download files to print or send. We sell digital files only: we don’t print or post anything, and we aren’t responsible for how a printer or print shop prints them. Screens, printers and paper all differ, so colours on paper may not match your screen exactly.
Your account
- You don’t need an account to browse, personalise designs or download proofs. You do need one to buy, to save designs to your account, and to send reports or ask for help from the site. You can always email us.
- You must be 13 or over to create an account, and 18 or over to buy.
- Keep your password to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You can delete your account at any time on your account page.
Prices and what you get
Browsing, personalising designs and downloading a watermarked proof are free.
To download your files without the watermark, choose one of these:
- Buy a template, 99p. The template stays unlocked on your account, so you can change your design and download its files as often as you like.
- Unlimited, £5 a month. Download any template without the watermark while your plan is active.
A template is one design, such as one invitation. Each piece of a matching collection, such as the invitation, RSVP card and menu, is a separate template.
Prices are in pounds sterling and include any VAT that applies. You pay the price shown when you buy, and we’ll email you a receipt.
Checkout isn’t open yet. Until it is, every download is free.
Unlimited
- Unlimited renews automatically every month, on the day of the month you joined, and we take £5 each time until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time on your account page. You keep Unlimited until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and we won’t charge you again.
- When it ends, your saved designs stay on your account. You can still change them and download watermarked proofs, and you can keep using files you downloaded while you had Unlimited.
- If we change the price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before your first payment at the new price, so you can cancel first if you want to.
- Unlimited is for your own use, so please don’t share your sign-in.
- Unlimited covers template downloads. It doesn’t include paid features we add later, such as AI tools.
AI features and credits
We plan to add AI features. They’ll be a separate plan that uses credits, and they won’t be included in template purchases or Unlimited. Before you can buy credits, we’ll update these terms and show you the price and how credits work, including whether they expire.
Using your designs
The templates, artwork and fonts on Papercrumb belong to us or to the people we license them from. When you download a design, you can:
- print as many copies as you need, at home or at a print shop
- send it digitally, for example by WhatsApp, text, email or social media
- use it for your own events, including ones you organise for your family, friends, school, club, charity or workplace.
You can’t:
- sell, share or give away our templates, artwork or blank designs, or upload them to other template or print sites
- sell designs made with Papercrumb, or offer designing or printing them as a service, without our written permission
- use our artwork in a logo or trademark
- copy the site, or download templates in bulk or automatically.
Your wording and photos
- The wording and photos you add stay yours. You let us store and use them only to run Papercrumb for you, such as saving your designs and making your files.
- Only add photos and wording you have the right to use. If you add other people’s details, such as guests’ names or a home address, make sure they’d be happy to see them on your design.
- Don’t use Papercrumb for anything unlawful, hateful or harassing, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
Check your proof
Your files match your design exactly, so please check every name, date, time and spelling on the proof before you download. A mistake in the wording you typed isn’t a fault in the file, but you can fix it and download again. That’s free for templates you’ve bought, and while you have Unlimited.
If something goes wrong
- By law, digital content you buy must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a file isn’t, our refunds and cancellations policy explains what we’ll do.
- We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that’s a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We’re not responsible for loss that isn’t foreseeable, or for business losses.
- If something we supply damages your device or other digital content because we didn’t use reasonable care and skill, we’ll repair the damage or pay you fair compensation.
- We don’t exclude or limit our responsibility where the law doesn’t allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Keeping Papercrumb running
We work to keep Papercrumb available, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted, for example for maintenance. We may add, change or remove templates and features. If we ever close Papercrumb, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice so you can download your designs, and we’ll refund any Unlimited time you’ve paid for but not used.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects you, we’ll email you before it applies. If you don’t agree with it, you can cancel Unlimited or delete your account.
Closing your account
You can stop using Papercrumb or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we close your account for any other reason, we’ll refund any Unlimited time you’ve paid for but not used.
Disputes and the law
If something’s wrong, please email us first at hello@papercrumb.com. Most problems are quick to sort out. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live.
