How to lay out a wedding seating plan

Group guests under each table, or make one A to Z list with a table beside each name. The A to Z is quicker for a big wedding, as people look for their own name first.
Name or number the tables to match the table numbers, and put the top table first.
Use the names people go by, with surnames, so two Sarahs can each find their seat.
Finish it the week before. A late change is a few clicks: edit the names and download it again.
Print it on matt card or have it mounted on foam board, so it doesn’t shine under the lights.
