Children’s Christmas party invitations
Party invitations for little ones and the grown-ups who organise them: Christmas pyjama parties and sleepovers, breakfast with Santa, hot chocolate afternoons, a Christmas disco, a winter wonderland party with polar bear cubs, and ballet parties in Nutcracker pink and gold. Schools, nurseries and PTAs will find Christmas fair and school celebration invitations too.
There’s a children’s thank-you note for after the party, and a little note from Santa for the stocking of a child who’s been especially kind. Print two invitations to an A4 sheet for the book bags, or send the image to the class WhatsApp group.
Your first design is free, then 99p each. Or every design for £5 a month with Unlimited.

Children’s party invitations that parents can act on
- Make the pick-up time clear. Parents need the finish time more than the start. “2 to 4pm, pick-up from the hall at 4” saves a lot of quarter-to-four phone calls.
- Ask about allergies. Ask parents to mention allergies when they reply, and say whether there’s food (“party tea provided”), so nobody packs a lunch.
- Say what to wear or bring. Pyjamas, a Christmas jumper, wellies for a winter walk: put it on the invitation, because children rarely pass the message on.
- If Santa’s visiting, plan the presents. Ask each family to bring a small wrapped present labelled with their child’s name, and say how much to spend, so Santa’s sack has something for everyone.
- Inviting the class? Invite the whole class, or post invitations to a smaller group rather than handing out a few at the school gate. Change the name in the editor before each download for named invitations.

Pick a designQuestions
- Can I use these for a school or nursery event?
- Yes. The school Christmas fair and celebration designs are written for teachers and PTAs: add the school’s name, the time and what’s on, then print for book bags or post the image on the school app.
- Is there a thank-you note to match?
- Yes. The Starry reindeer thank-you note has space for children to write their own message, and it matches the Starry reindeer party invitation.
- Do you have Christmas birthday invitations?
- Yes. December birthdays have their own section on our Christmas page, from a first birthday to a grown-up party.
- What do children’s party invitations cost?
- Your first design is free, then 99p each, for the whole class, not per child. Unlimited is £5 a month if you’d like the invitations, the thank-you notes and a letter from Santa too.
