Present tree – Advent calendar colouring page

An advent calendar to colour in, one day at a time. Twenty-three presents of different shapes and sizes, each with its own bow and a numbered gift tag hanging from it, are stacked into a Christmas tree under a big star, with a snowman and a penguin in the snow and stars and snowflakes in the sky, all drawn in bold black lines with big, simple shapes. From 1 December your child colours the present with that day’s number, and on Christmas Eve the star marked 24. Their name sits at the top in big outline letters to colour in too (in black, or a colour you choose), under the words “My advent calendar”, and a note at the bottom explains how it works. Change the name and the wording, then print it at home on A4 paper: one for each child, or a set for the class.

MY ADVENT CALENDAR

Noah

Colour one present a day from 1 December, and the star on Christmas Eve!

Getting the most from an Advent calendar colouring page

  • Change the headings before you print, so each section fits the way you plan.
  • Fill in the fixed things first: dates, deadlines, appointments and budgets.
  • Print a fresh copy each week or month, or laminate one and use a dry-wipe pen.
  • Keep it somewhere you’ll see it, such as the fridge, a noticeboard or a ring binder.

Printing tip: print at actual size (100%) on good paper, or on card if it’s going on display.
